This ski resort is positioned as the Northern Gateway into the town of Breckenridge.
The site houses a large accommodations and amenities building, an employee housing and maintenance facility and a meeting center.
The design vision is firmly rooted in the industrial past, incorporating mining elements and industrial revolution artifacts indicative to this historic town.
Site planning was informed by and developed into a metaphoric representation of the three native Colorado climatic zones.
Replete with indigenous vegetation, lavish amenities and an emphasis on pedestrian connectivity to the natural features of the site, i.e. the Blue River, and the various man-made aquatic and fire harnessing elements
